I went to Stonesthrow's 15th anniversary show and it was so much fun! They were celebrating the various artists through the years and the many DJs that have been on their label. So since it was mostly about the DJs, Mayer Hawthorne was there to DJ and he was freaking amazing! He's originally from Detroit and started spinnin when he was 16--in 1996. The amazing thing about him is that he spun actual records on an actual turntable. NOT a computer. It was so cool seeing him spin a record and then search through his collection and switch the records. It was bangin!

The whole show made me realize how much I miss concerts and how fun they are. And I found a concert buddy to go with too. Brian's not big into shows so I wouldn't really go to them, but now that I've found someone that loves shows, I'll be going more often this year. First show of the new year is 2 weeks away and I'm excited!
